Look fresh, clean and tidy, everyone want it, doesn't it? Instagram users sometimes want to tidy up the feed view on their Profile page. The reason might be from the personal digital branding or indeed which want to remove the photos that are no longer relevant or desired.
Many user have attempted to remove "disgrace" in some photos uploaded early on using Instagram, including photos with new filters that were hits but that is "old school" for now.
Indeed, at the beginning of its appearance, Instagram gives only the delete option to remove such photo traces. Instagram now offers another option to hide photos that "block out" the Instagram feedprofile which look more captivating.
The option is an Archive feature released mid-2017. As the name suggests, this feature works like a storage box to move certain submissions, including Instagram Stories account owner.
The step is pretty easy, select any post, can be a photo or video. Then click the three dots in the top right corner to pop-up option "Archive" (Archieve).
From there, the photo will move from the Profile page to the archive box, complete with the number of likes and comments that remain intact.
If you feel the photo is very necessary to be published again, user can restore the photo to the original place.
To do this, click the clock icon on the Profile page located at the top, then select "Archived posts" and select the photos you want to show again. Select "show in profile" (show in profile) in the pop-up.
Automatically, the photo will return to the full Profile page without losing the number of likes and comments, as KamiDroid sums up from Life Wire on Thursday (1/2/2018).
Not only photos or videos, Archive feature can also extend the life of Instagram Stories that was originally only 24 hours.
Simply open the Instagram profile, then click the three dots in the top right corner. Scroll down to find the "story setting" option (Story setting). In the "save" option (Saving) enable the option "save to archive" (Save to Archive).
So your stories will be seen repeatedly without worry will disappear after 24 hours. Viewing archived Stories is the same as opening the post archive. Then select the "story archive" option (Stories Archieve). Stories will appear along with the date the stories are made.
